Earlier Samajwadi Party chief said that "Baba Mukhya Mantri (Yogi Adityanath) should not contest an assembly seat, he is already on his way out." The CM then said, " "Babua, ye Twitter hi vote bhi de dega,"   

Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav also sought to defend his Muhammad Ali Jinnah remark as he hit out at his detractors, asking them to read history books again.

On the law and order situation, Yogi Adityanath said the state has set an example and during the past four years there was no riot and all festivals, including Diwali, were celebrated peacefully.
